Pilar Lázaro was born and raised in Spain. She has dedicated her career in fashion working for various multinational companies in Australia, London and Barcelona.

Besides fashion, another of her great passion is travelling and discovering new cultures.

It was a few years ago when her fascination with Asian culture and their interpretation of fashion sparked: their use of silk, semi-precious stones, the care for detailing and handcrafted work.

That is how Mika Muka was born, a project full of passion that brings to you handmade ethnic inspired jewelry made from semi precious stones, full of colour, exotism and character. “I always believed accessories play a key part in an outfit; they turn a simple look into a chic one”.
